This vehicle is displayed in our San Carlos California Showroom (650) 326-1000., The current owner of this fantastic Shelby purchased the car in 1997 and had it shipped straight to a professional performance shop that services similar cars at Sears Point / Infineon Raceway in Sonoma California, (Robin Automotive serviced this car and specializes in these and other vintage racing and Can-Am cars). This GT 350 was purchased approximately 14 years ago with 62,000 miles and it now has just over 72,000. The current V8 in the car is not the original engine, but it was built by Tony Otto from Robin Automotive. The Shelby started as a 302 C.I. V8 and was stroked to 347 with a cam that can be driven on the track and street, and has a DYNO sheet rating of 430HP at 6,000RPM., The Shelby has been lowered 1.5 inches and the chassis has been stiffened with Robin’s experienced, spring selection at the front and back. Hurst Shifter and linkage has been installed for smooth power shifting if desired up or down. The power brakes have been upgraded with an oversized master cylinder and are fed through race spec brake lines for heat resistance. The brakes have also been modified and have racing pads to absorb the high heat due to braking under typical competition events.
