2003 Saturn Vue AWD. Mileage is unknown, with the odometer not working. Michigan clear/clean title. 2.2L 4 cylinder engine, automatic, air (cold), tilt, cruise. Power steering, brakes, windows, locks, and mirrors. Rear wiper/defoger, alloy rims, and am fm cd stereo. Security system, keyless entry, loaded. I purchased this truck at a dealer insurance auction. It was in the drive through lane, so I new it ran, and moved. it was not an insurance vehicle, but was a dealer car. It was sold to me as actual miles unknown, because the odometer was not working. I looked it over very carfully before purchasing it, and man this is a clean piece. Because it was so clean I purchased it taking a chance on it, that the drive line was all good. You buy these vehicles as is where is peroid. I had it towed to my mechanic, to do an oil change and full inspection. I called him up after recieving the vehicle, and he told me the oil change had been done and he was just starting to investigate the odometer issue. I told him to stop dead in his tracks and test drive the vehicle before putting any additional money into this car. A long story short, the transmission is bad. First gear and reverse work fine. This is an expensive transmission. I did locate one (not trying very hard) that has been tested with a 30 day warranty, for $2,030 delivered. I paid too much for this vehicle to begin with, so now I am dumping it rather than put the additional money into it. It currently has a new oil and oil filter change, runs perfect, sounds great, and will move, forward and reverse, but will not shift out of first gear. Cosmetically the thing is damn near perfect, with the following minor cosmetic imperfections. A couple of very minor scratches in the plastic skirting along the windshield posts, and above the right rear door. This should all polish out. Maybe a minor stone chip here and there. No damage to the body anywhere, with all good glass. The interior is pretty much mint as well. The only issues on the inside is the instrument cluster having a crack in it on the lower left corner, and the flasher button being pushed into the bezel. You can still turn the flashers on and off, but you have to stick your finger into the bezel. There is a check engine light on, probably related to the transmission, or even the odometer issue. Everything else seems to be working, on the truck. Even the tires are all matching and look like they just had been replaced with new Firestone all season radials. I am selling this piece for less than what it is worth for parts, so here is somebodys chance to save some money on a super clean, loaded up AWD vehicle.
