Seventy three was the last year of the 1st generation Mustang. The Marti Report certified convertible you see here is a very cool car. It has a very nice body with a respray of the original code 6B Light Yellow Gold paint job. It is accented with Mach 1 style stripes and black out treatment. The steel functional Ram Air hood features the twin scoops and blackout accent. All of this is set off with an awesome set of 18 inch Foose, 5 spoke wheels, with P245/40ZR18 high performance tires. It rides and handles very well. The Big Mustang as the 71-73 models were referred to are considered the best riding of all Mustangs just from the girth they possessed. They respond well to the larger wheel & tire combination. Power comes from a 351 Cleveland V-8 equipped with an aluminum intake, 4 barrel carburetor, MSD electronic ignition, headers and dual exhaust. The motor compartment is detailed nicely with crinkle finish valve covers, factory style Ram Air snorkel, K&N air filter, and factory style air conditioning. It is not hooked up but the brackets, compressor, and condenser are there. We are not going to mess with it unless the new owner insist. You are only going to drive it on nice sunny days anyway so who needs air with the top down. That takes away all of the fun. Power front disc brakes and power steering make for easy driving. The high back bucket seat interior is very nice with new seat covers, dash pad, carpet, door panels, and boot. It is mostly stock with the exception of a reproduction 3 spoke steering wheel and Pioneer AM/FM CD radio. The power top is in very good condition and works just like it should. The trunk is nice too. The chassis is not show quality but was rebuilt and still looks nice. This is a strong running and great driving Mustang that you would be proud to own.
